How much does a course at Qantm College cost?

What is FEE-HELP/VET FEE-HELP and is it available at Qantm College?
FEE-HELP and VET FEE-HELP are both loan schemes offered by the Australian government to assist eligible fee-paying undergraduate or postgraduate students to pay part of or all of their tuition fees. Just like the former HECS, you do not need to repay your loan until you are finished study and earning within the relevant tax bracket. Qantm College degree and diploma courses are government accredited and offer FEE-HELP and VET FEE-HELP to eligible students.
Are there scholarships available?

Is financial assistance available for students?
You might be eligible for Government payments such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, Abstudy or Rent Assistance. Please contact your nearest Centrelink office for more information on financial assistance available for students.
When is your next intake?
Commencement dates for new intakes at Qantm College usually occur in February and September each year. Please contact your nearest campus for further information on exact dates.
What are the entry requirements?
Qantm College requires successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent for entry into our courses. If you have not completed Year 12 or a senior equivalent and wish to enrol in a Qantm course we do have alternative admission and online study options available. Please refer to the Admissions section of our website or contact your desired campus directly for further information.
When do I need to apply?
It is advisable to apply as soon as you have made the decision to study at Qantm College, as enrolments are accepted on a ‘first-come first-served’ basis. The sooner you apply for your course at Qantm, the more time you have to adequately prepare yourself before you commence studying.

Past surveys have shown that over 80% of Qantm graduates have found employment in their industry of choice within 4 months of graduating.
Can I work and study?
Like at most other universities there will be time for you outside of your studies to find work. If you decide to take on a full-time course it can be quite intensive, however many students do balance their study with either casual or part-time work. If you are an Australian resident studying full-time you may be eligible to receive Youth Allowance, Austudy or other payments through Centrelink. Can I study part-time?
With our flexible study mode option, it is possible to study either full or part-time depending on your student status. As an Australian or domestic student you can chose to study either full-time or part-time. However international students, due to visa restrictions, may only study full-time.
Do you have distance education?
Qantm College offers a variety of courses via Qantm Online, ranging from short courses to Certificate III to Diplomas. Please check out Qantm Online for further information.
Can I defer from my studies at Qantm?
It is possible to defer your studies once you have been accepted into one of Qantm’s courses provided we receive an application from you in writing and the correct procedure is followed. If you choose to defer, you will have the option to rejoin classes again in the future.
How long is the course?
All courses at Qantm College are formatted in an accelerated learning structure, meaning it is possible to complete your studies and be out in the workforce much faster than at a traditional university. A standard Bachelor Degree usually takes 2-years full-time to complete, and our Diplomas take approximately 1-year to complete. Our flexible study option however allows for you to undertake a variety of study options to suit your needs.
What is ‘accelerated learning’?
Qantm’s study year is organised in trimester format offering a two-year bachelor degree or a one-year diploma, enabling you to ‘accelerate’ the time it takes you to complete your studies and therefore be actively out in the workforce sooner.
Do I need to be good at drawing/art to study at Qantm?
At Qantm College we teach the fundamentals of drawing because basic drawing skills are the backbone of good animation, whether it is 2D or 3D. Existing drawing skills are always welcome and encouraged, however a desire to learn and passion for animation are more important when you are starting out. The drawing and basic art skills learned at Qantm College will also enable you to do other jobs such as; modeller, texture artist, lighting designer, colour stylist, concept artist, story board artist etc. In short, drawing and general art skills developed at Qantm College give you more options for employment at the end of your course.
Do I have to complete the Diploma before being eligible to apply for the Degree?
Both the degrees and diplomas offered at Qantm are undergraduate courses meaning you can enter these study programs straight from grade 12 without requiring other prior qualifications. If you complete the diploma and are wishing to transfer into a degree at Qantm, you will most likely be eligible for RPL, however please consult with your Academic Coordinator for further information.
Can I get credit for previous study/what is RPL?
If you have previously commenced study elsewhere or have relevant work experience, it may be possible for you to gain Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL), meaning you may get credit for certain units of study. Please contact the Academic Coordinator at your local campus for further information.
Do the Qantm academic staff have industry relevant training?
Qantm College teaching staff are both academically and professionally qualified in their area of expertise. Our lecturers have extensive industry experience, and on top of this are passionate about, and dedicated to, inspiring creativity and providing quality education to all students.
Does Qantm offer onsite accommodation for students?

How many students do you accept per intake?
At Qantm College we aim to keep classes intimate to allow for adequate one on one student/ lecturer time. Class sizes usually range between 15 and 30 students per class.
Once I start my course, is it easy to transfer between campuses?
Yes. Once you have commenced your course at one of our Australian locations, it is very easy to relocate to another campus or another country (depending on course availability) throughout your studies. Please speak with your local admissions staff for more information.
Can I come and check out the campus?
