CUF50107 Diploma of Screen and Media (with a specialisation in Digital Video Production)

The CUF50107 Diploma of Screen and Media (with a specialisation in Digital Video Production) is designed to give students the full experience of digital video production, from concept to final production. It is a highly practical qualification based on units of competency from the nationally recognized CUF07 Screen and Media Training Package. Students will be instructed in camera use, lighting, video and audio editing, motion graphics, film and video theory, planning and managing projects, storyboarding, DVD authoring, script writing, compositing, digital visual effects and emerging technologies.

Structured lectures, workshops and lab sessions provide students with not only necessary skills in these fields, but also opportunities to create industry-suited showreels. They will develop projects in various types of video production including documentary and narrative production, and music videos.

Proficiency in industry software compliments hands-on techniques so that students can confidently develop their talents in preparation for exciting careers in the digital video industry.
