Qantm Lecturer's Short Animation Winning Multiple Awards
2nd July 2010
Justine Wallace, lecturer from Qantm College Melbourne, recently won 1st Prize at the Melbourne International Animation Festival for her short animated film “INK”. Just last month, Justine took out Best Animation, Best Screenplay and Best Sound at the 2010 St. Kilda Film Festival for her same animation. “INK”, the story of "a lost toy, a stolen childhood and a girl spray-painting the streets, in search of both" beat out over 500 other films to take the first place honours.
Keiran Bartlett, National Academic Coordinator for Qantm College, commended Justine and her string of accolades saying: “I’m sure I speak on behalf of everyone when I say CONGRATULATIONS Justine! Your work is inspiring and motivational and I hope it continues to receive the praise it deserves.”
